Biography:

Meryn Trant is a character featured in the HBO television series Game of Thrones.

He is a knight of the Kingsguard, serving under King Robert Baratheon and later King Joffrey Baratheon.

Trant is known for his unquestioning obedience and brutality, often carrying out the orders of the crown with excessive force. His first appearance is in Season 1, Episode 3, "Lord Snow."

He is particularly cruel towards Sansa Stark, whom he abuses both physically and emotionally on Joffrey's orders. His service continues under King Tommen Baratheon until his death.
